Full Description

Consisting of nave with clerestory, S aisle and chancel. C12, C13, C14 benches. Ancient font. Vamping horn one of 6 left in the country. (1)
Nave N side [is] Norman. The tower is unbuttressed, that is early, and received in the C15 battlements and plain spire. The C15 clerestory has battlements too. Chancel rebuilt of old materials in 1886 by W. S. Weatherley. Font: Early English. (2)
We know that there was a church here before 1086 ['a church and a priest' in DB]. Herring-bone work [in] the north wall may be considered to contain some of that building. The tower … is Early English. The spire is a good specimen of Perpendicular work. The porch [was] erected in 1894. (3)
