Full Description
Single burial found 20/08/1982 in extending property into backyard. Burial dug out when TVARC observed, but shallow grave cut still partly visible. Burial apparently face down, annular brooch in vicinity of shoulders, and one (perhaps a buckle) by the hip - staining on bones confirms this. Burial adult, grave aligned N-S. Most of skeleton recovered. (1) (2)
Short stocky male ? Mid 20s - all wisdom teeth, not very worn. Poor enamel on teeth - infant illness ? Also signs of calculus on wisdom teeth, part ground away - long illness with soft foods, then recovery grinding it away ? (3)
