Full Description

In Willoughby is a handsome cross, 5 yds long. (Illustrated with 3 circular steps, square socket stone and square shaft with capital.) (1)
Cross base described as being at these cross roads, but which side is not stated, 1902. (2)
It was destroyed c 1820, and a fragment of the shaft in the plinth now stands at the corner of the road to Widmerpool, a few yards from where it originally stood. (3)
Not marked 1921, so possibly destroyed. (4)
No remains of a cross could be identified in this area. Local enquiries produced no information on present location (if still extant). (6)
