Full Description

An irregular ditched enclosure and a ring ditch visible as cropmarks on air photographs. The enclosure appears as a broad ditch made up of straightish segments. Harding and Lee have listed it as a possible henge, although only an irregular arc is visible. If the cropmark represents a sub circular enclosure, then less than half of its perimeter is visible. The ring ditch is within the enclosed area, and presumably represents a ploughed down barrow. (4)
Very thick ditched sub-rectangular enclosure (only one half) with ring ditch within. (1)
Cropmark of a possible henge, consisting of a ring ditch and part of a broad outer ditch which appears to be circular with one flat at SK 52163293. (2)
Whilst the ring ditch probably marks the site of a barrow the broad outer feature is not considered to be associated. The ground is flat and at present freshly ploughed, but apart from natural soil variations nothing is to be seen. (3)
See L435 for nearby cropmarks, M476 for flood bank.
