Full Description

Iron foundry. Robin Hood works of Beeston Boiler Co. Est 1897 on present site. Site now covers 10 acres. It is built against the railway and has its own branch line serving the sheds. Area is covered by many large corrugated sheds as can be seen in most iron works. Older part in brick in the centre can be seen from houses in Mona St. A fairly tall plain chimney is attached to central block. Fairly poor condition (29/03/1966). (1)
