I have a question regarding ownership of the riverbank by the bridge. Specifically the south bank, upstream of the bridge, where the map states sloping masonry. The map suggests this masonry is part of the bridge construction, there to stop bank erosion. Thus, whoever owns the bridge, owns this area. My reason for asking, is a claim has been made upon the land, as there is no title deed. It's fenced off, and looks like an overgrown builders yard. It's a land grab by a guy that lives on a boat, which he tied to the railings there. Railings that must have an owner. The boat was moved on, as mooring to a railing was unsafe, and too close to the bridge. The area has now fallen into disrepair, and become an eyesore. In a couple of years, the land will be his, if the rightful owner doesn't come forward. Though he's not using it, or looking after it, which is part of the requirement for a claim. It's not good enough. I need to know who owns the land, and presume it must come with the bridge, and this construction method is likely known.
