Full Description
Small circle. (1)
The mark is situated on the N slope of a slight local elevation. The field is arable and still under corn stubble when visited. Nothing of interest was to be seen on the ground. (2)
A possible annular or penannular ditched enclosure, c 20m in diameter. The feature is truncated on its NE side by a modern road with associated side ditch, but it is otherwise continuous. The enclosure is exceptionally well defined in view of its location on Mercia mudstones, and the possibility should be entertained that it represents a modern, possibly agricultural feature. (3)
Morph: 27.10.1 interpreted as Bronze Age Round Barrow. (4)
