Full Description
Lock on the Grantham canal. The brick structure survives. (1)
On the Grantham side of the bridge is Fosse Top Lock, built c 1797 and now much overgrown. Brick-lined with stone capping, and was provided with 2 sets of top gates. Remains of an early C19 landing platform survive on the N bank to the E of the lock, remains of a swing bridge further E. (2)
