Full Description

1746. Built by a coalmine owner, Richard Smedley of Risley. The chancel is preserved. The rest of the church was rebuilt by Naylor & Sale of Derby in 1902-3. (1)
A survey of the graveyard wasundertaken by Nottinghamshire Community Archaeology in 2013. (3)
