Full Description

8 - This was a structure 25m long, but the width was impossible to gauge because it had been almost totally destroyed by quarrying. It was constructed from vertical qaurtered ash and oak posts 15-22cm diameter and horizontal willow and ash rods 4.5-5.5cm diameter, almost certainly in the same manner as 7 with which it was parallel and from which it was separated by only 15m.
