Clipstone (Plumtree) Chapel (St John) included in list of churches of which the sites are uncertain or unknown. (1)
St John's Chapel. (2)
Local enquiry revealed no knowledge of an early church in Clipston. However, it was established that the building on (2) was a C19 mission hut, demolished c 1950. (3)
