In an area of about 1 km sq on the gravel terrace are four farmsteads … three sites have already been excavated and are now destroyed by quarrying. Waterlogged deposits at the bottom of a well. (2) Position of well not marked on the excavation plans. (6)
Site 2 began as an IA hut circle, and the enclosures were laid out later. (3)
Excavation showed a group of rectangular enclosures with Ro pottery. Also a well containing animal bones and organic matter. A circular hut, possibly IA. (4)
Morph: 69.2.1 Group interpreted as Roman Settlement. (5)
