Full Description
On Mill Hill, in the copse S of the railway bridge is a large mound 27yds in diameter, c 3ft high, with no trace of a surrounding ditch. It is much larger than the usual mill mound. (1)
This is a mill mound. It has a central depression of 0.2m max depth. (2)
A mound 25m in diameter and 1m in height set amongst fir trees which were planted on the site when the old post mill was removed in 1876. (3)
