Some remains of a brick structure. May not be exactly the same site ? (due to landcaping of park grounds). (2)
In Domesday Walter of Aincourt had a mill value 5/4. The mill stood at the junction of the river Devon and the Winter Beck. In 1870 it was a long, low, two storey building with a partly enclosed, low breastshot waterwheel with 8 arms and driving two sets of stones. It was reputedly built in 1649. (3)
