Full Description

3 or possibly more circles E of Flintham Park. Dark E-W feature is an old field boundary ("circle" to E is a mark on the film). (1)
Topographic situation slightly below crest on a SSE facing slope c 33.0m above sea level. The ditches are under recent plough; perambulation revealed only normal field debris and there was no physical indication of artificial features. The farmer had no helpful information. Possible barrow circles in a light clay soil. (2)
Morph: 208.7.1 post medieval quarry. (3)
