Full Description
N of Hall Farm, rectangular enclosures, and line of pits or post holes. Pickering 70 does not show enclosures, but a double linear feature in field to S (see L8133). Other indistinct linear features show up. Area heavily pitted. (1)
The marks fall on level arable land under corn stubble when visited. A low bank traverses the field from close by the bushes to the clump of trees which corresponds to a line on the AP. No other features are visible. (2)
Much Ro material concentrated on area of cropmark …coin of Vespasian, tesserae, grey wares, colour coated wares, samian, mortaria fragements. (3)
Morph: 217.12.1 unknown prehistoric field system, 217.13.1 unknown prehistoric farmstead. (4)
