Full Description

2 storey red brick and slate. Decorative gable ends. Decorative brickwork above first storey windows. Loft doors with decorative bases. (1)
The mill was large - 80ft x 30ft x 30ft and has 2 storeys with 2 rooms on each storey. The condition was quite good and it was made out of red brick and stone. 2 or 3 years ago it was taken over by the BR for storage and is likely to be knocked down soon to make way for a new road. The mill was fitted with a number of pulleys for lifting sacks of grain. The station at Bingham has record books of the mill dating back to 1850 (08/07/1968). (3)
