Full Description

Hollow way - part of Longhedge Lane (Syerston). (1)
Longhedge Lane follows a sinuous route from the S bank of the R Trent ... to the River Devon immediately N of Bottesford. It extends approx NW-SE for a total distance of c 11km, and for all of its course is followed by Med parish boundaries. Parish boundaries are also aligned consistently at right angles to the track. At its E end the track also coincides with the county boundary. (Detailed description). Possibly pre-Ro in origin. (2)
