At Daybrook on the Mansfield Road at the junction of Nottingham Road is a 3 storey hosiery factory built in 1885 for I and R Morley. Alongside is a 2 storey office block having a small central pediment with clock. At the rear is a more modern 4 storey building of 1901 having discreet embellishment. Both buildings have the owner's name and date on stones, the earlier building having a very elaborate brickwork gable to Mansfield Road. Now a wire works. (3) (4)
