Full Description

St Patrick's Church comprises chancel, nave with N aisle, S porch and W tower. Repaired 1838, reroofed 1858, most carefully restored 1884. The lower stage of the tower is EE, the S doorway early C14, and the S aisle arcade c 1400. (1)
C13 tower, the upper part rebuilt in the C18. The chancel N arcade, S windows and S doorway all point to c 1400. Restored in 1884 by James Fowler of Louth. Screen: C15. Stained glass: late C15. (2)
The oldest part ... is the lower half of the EE tower. The upper portion … [was] rebuilt in the middle of the C18. The church was restored in 1884. The [N] arcade … and the square-headed windows … indicate that the Perpendicular style was close at hand. Screen … Perpendicular. (3)
