St. Mary's Church, Greasley, incorporates 15th c. tower 'The

St. Mary's Church Greasley, restored 1881-2 and 1896, incorporates a perpendicular W. tower and some 'early work' in the chancel. (4)

Mid 15th century church, restored in 1753, 1772, 1832 and 1882. The nave and chancel were rebuilt in 1896 and the vestries were added in 1910 and 1962. Built of stone rubble and ashlar with tiled roofs, the church comprises a west tower, nave, chancel, north and south aisles and vestries. Listed Grade II. (5) (6)
