Deserted Med village of Greasley listed at SK 489471. (1)

The likely topographical site for the village would seem to be between the church and the present hamlet of Bogend at SK 495469, but no indications of former habitation are to be seen in that area. (4)
Earthworks visible in field centred at above grid ref, opposite Greasley Castle. (5)
