Full Description

"Old tramway" - links three tramway systems, M2360, M2338 and M5280. Shown as an earthwork at NE end, but as line only towards SW end, where a junction is traceable. (1)
A new line (from Strelley and Awsworth pits) further north (than earlier railway), rising steeply towards a winding engine near Strelley Mill, is shown on the Edge estate plan of 1840. (2)
Grid ref is for junction with M2338.
