Full Description
In the valley SE of Blidworth Bottoms is a sandy mound, 32yds in diameter, with no trace of an exterior ditch. (1)
An oval, flattened mound, 40m from NW to SE, 33m from NE to SW and 1.5m in height. There are no traces of a ditch, and the mound is under grass, with a few small trees, in a pasture. Rabbits have mutilated the mound, revealing a sandy core. Mr AH Oswald could add nothing to his description (1), and no opinion can be expressed as to the nature of the mound. (2) (3)
This appears to be a natural sand knoll with no historic associations. (4)
