Full Description

Part of bronze sword blade (BA) found in River Trent (SK 725 488). (1)
Dredged from the bed of the River Trent in 1952, Taplow type, Ind Phase VIII, Penard, length 401mm, shoulder width 59mm & weight 400g, it has been "conserved" and has lost its patina. (2)
NB Grid ref as given by OS, altered to fall in river.
