Tumulus, diameter about 40yds, height about 12ft. There are traces of excavation on the flattened top, but it appears too large for that dug by Rooke. No external ditch and its appearance and situation make a Ro date possible. (3) (4)
A very large bowl shaped mound in an arable field. Average diameter 61m, rises steeply to a height of 4m. There are no traces of a ditch and on the W the slopes of the mound merge into the natural slope. The surface of the mound is mainly the normal pebbly soil of the area, with a patch of sandstone fragments from underlying rock. Probably a natural hillock. (5)
Large tumulus 70yds diameter. No sign of ditch on cropmarks. Under grass. Appears in good condition and there are no signs that it has been disturbed. (6)
The whole field including the mound is under arable. (7)
