Full Description

Norman chancel arch. In the chancel a blocked Norman doorway, window and pillar piscina. Box pews. Royal arms of George II. Monument to a layman, said to be Robert de Nottingham. Sherbrooke [family] hatchments. (1)
The chancel arch was the work of the end of the 11th or beginning of the 12th century, and the … S wall of the chancel, with one original window in it (the small one in the middle) might very well be of the same period. (2)
Parish church. C12 [and later,] restored 1898. Dressed coursed rubble C12 chancel. (3)
