AP shows view of enclosures 3/4 mile SE of Rolleston. Terrific jumble of enclosures and linear features, including a possible Ro droveway. Obviously important but difficult to sort out. (1) (2) (3)
These markings now fall under a thick beet crop. Perambulation produced no archaeological material and there is no surface indication of former occupation. The area is very low lying, being situate on the Trent flood plain. The cropmarks indicate an agricultural activity but their precise date of origin is unknown. (4)
