Full Description
Hospital of St Leonard - on site of present hall ? Founded pre 1135. (1)
Hospital of St Leonard and St Anne at East Stoke, founded c 1135 and dissolved in 1547. (2)
Stoke Hall is considered to be connected with an independant building which formed part of St Leonard's Hospital. (3)
Perambulation and enquiry revealed no remains of this hospital in the proximity of Stoke Hall. (4)
1135 reference may be spurious, the first reference to this hospital shows it in existence by 1315. (5)
