The prior of Mattersey had a grange and good lands here, part whereof was granted to Sir Anthony Nevill. (1)
"Old Grange Meadow" shown, with enclosure in corner beside Clayworth Common. (2)
L-shaped bank and terrace in corner of field. (3)
Cropmarks of enclosures at Clayworth. (4)
