Full Description
2 squarish enclosures, and one smaller (stone foundations ?). (1)
The marks fall into 4 distinct groups ... Group "A", 2 rectangles located on level arable land, at present corn stubble. No surface indications. Nothing of interest was seen at any of the sites which seem to belong to the IA/Ro periods. (2)
A trapezoidal or sub-rectangular enclosure lying parallel to the stream and visible on multiple APs (see data held) at this grid ref. The squarish enclosures mentioned above are located in the field to the SW (grid approx. SK 7066 4070), only appear on one of the APs (NLAP SK 7040/5) and are probably not archaeological in origin. (3)
See L1462 for nearby cropmarks.
