Full Description

St Catherine's Well. (1)
A holy well famous for healing leprosy. St Catherine's chapel built over the well "has since disappeared". (2)
This well is now represented by a moss covered landscaped pond, concrete walled and incorporated into a modern privately owned ornamental garden. Nothing of an archaeological nature is extant save the old name which is still retained. (3)
