Full Description

Malthouse of pinky cream brick, slate roof, 3 or more storeys, 6 bays wide; 5 kilns with hipped slate roofs. A very complex unit, in good repair and in use as a maltings by Peach's (Gough's) Maltsters Ltd. Interior has storage bins, two cisterns, kilns to N and S of floors on 2nd floor. Also branch railway line to coal storage area. (More construction detail). (1)

Listed grade II in 1989, de-listed in 1996 and subsequently demolished (see B2779 for list description).
