Full Description

Rectangular enclosure, possibly with rounded end. Another rectangular enclosure, 4th side to 1st mentioned enclosure. (1)
Probably constitute part of the Ro settlement shown on Todd's plan (but only mentioned briefly in the accompanying text) of Margidunum and its region. (2)
The marks are on flat arable land, mostly corn stubble but partly ploughed when visited. They could not be identified on the ground but seem to lie on slightly elevated ground. Nothing of interest was found. (3)
Fieldwalked 06/03/1980. Both enclosures are on top of a ridge between Car Dyke and a minor stream to N. (4)
Morph: 214.5.1 & 214.6.1 unknown prehistoric enclosures. (5)
See L8120 flints, L8121 for Med pottery, L8122 for Ro pottery, L5992 for nearby cropmarks.
