Full Description

Skegby Mill (mentioned in 1589) was in all probability on the same site as the one granted to Godfrey Spigurnal in 1207, and it must have been very near the point where the present B6014 crosses the E branch of the Meden (approx above grid ref). "Milford Bridge" presumably stood just N of the mill. (1)
List of owners, from 1200 to 1896. Mentioned in perambulation of Sherwood Forest, 1589. (2)
Grid ref approx - site possibly under railway embankment.
See M3962 for Skegby Manor House, adjacent; L7863 for nearby banks
