Full Description

Blacksmiths, Squires Lane, Old Clipstone. 28yds long by 6yds wide. Divided into 5 parts - blacksmiths, forge, stable, joiner's shop, bull boxes. Last used 1940. Owned by Wilkinson 1890, by Shaw Brown since 1932. The end cottage fell down in 1962. Foundations and chimney of furnace present. English bond brick, 21ft high, sloping roof 9ft 4in. In a state of decay, part fallen down. Bellows present, other equipment taken to Cavendish Lodge (01/07/1964). (1)
