Full Description

Smithy on Welbeck Road. In workable condition. 6yds wide, 13yds long, c.7yds high. Adjacent to workshops is shelter for horses to be shod. All tools and bellows are preserved - includes hand bellows, anvil, coke tray, drill and hammers etc. Roof in good condition, original beams. Used to be joiner's - wheelwrights attached, windows sealed off. Also attached WC. 01/07/1964. (1)
Demolished c.1969. Blacksmith's stone cottage remains, but is under threat. (3)
