Full Description

The church of Ossington with its appurtenances was granted to the Knights Hospitallers by Archbishop William (1143-54). (1)
Holy Rood, 1782. Monuments ... R Peckham 1551. (This without doubt indicates an earlier church, if not on the same site then close by, with the preceptory presumably adjacent.) (3)
The present church of Ossington stands at above grid ref. (4)
Church and mausoleum designed by John Carr. Mausoleum demolished 1838. (5)
