Full Description

Pickford's warehouse, which crosses the canal on a wide arch. (1)
Built in the 1st half of C19 in yellowish brick (unusual in Worksop). The Depository spans the canal with an elliptical arch having fine stone voussoirs. Under the arch the floor is supported on huge wooden beams and between them a trap door through which boats could be directly loaded or unloaded. (2)
Depository over the Chesterfield Canal. Early C19, post 1817 as it is not shown on the 1817 Inclosure Award Map. 3 storeys, of brick, 4 small wood mullion and transom casements. Segemental arched bridge carries structure of the warehouse over the canal. Hipped slate roof. (4)
Situated in an enclosed yard with a Georgian gatehouse and is still occupied by BWB. The classic three-storey brick building has a low wide segmented [sic] arch. (5)
