Full Description
Cottages and warehouse associated with the Chesterfield Canal. These buildings are on the N side of the canal, on the W side of the Kilton Road Bridge. The cottages and warehouse adjacent to the canal are of Steetly stone. The warehouse section of the building is next to the canal. Abutting onto the stone cottage are 2 red bricked cottages. The whole group is roofed with pantiles. The cottages were probably for canal workers.

... The group is at right angles to the canal. The building nearest the canal is of stone and appears to be a cottage with a warehouse fronting onto the canal. Next to the cottage end of the building are two red brick cottages. The whole group is roofed with pantiles. The red brick cottages may have been for canal workmen. (2)
