Full Description

Blacksmithy, pre 1800. 39ft long, 18ft wide, 20ft high. Stone built with tile roof. A brick wall divides the shoeing shop and the smithy. There are 2 forges. There was also a wheel weight. Stopped working in 1954, only occasional work done now. Changed from hand to electric power in 1937 but now changed back to hand power. Hand bellows, anvil and other tools present 02/07/1964. (1)
