Full Description

Subcircular and rectilinear enclosures. Ditched trackway. (1) (2)
Now ploughed, harrowed and under spring crop. Not permabulated. (4)
Cropmarks N of Thoresby Hall of several large enclosures including 2 oval enclosures of 0.8 and 1.1Ha in area, a double ditched rectangular enclosure of 0.35Ha internally and another enclosure of 800 sqm. The plan of the fields is less regular in this area and the brickwork plan, which is probably of Ro date, less obvious in the somewhat scanty cropmarks. A pair of parallel lines between the 2 ovals, are 6.0 to 8.0m apart. (5)
