Full Description

Blacksmithy, built 1850. Disused, now an occupied dwelling house. 2 storey brick and pantile building adjoining dwelling house. 10ft x 40ft ground floor divided by central brick partition into forge (to N) and standing bay for 4 horses (to S), connected to road by a large archway. Brick floor and rush and plaster ceiling supported on wooden beams. Many surviving features - see IS card. (15/12/1966). (1)
