Full Description

There are earthworks on both sides of the drive from Carburton Bridge to Trumans Lodge. They were made during WW2 for piles of munitions when the Park was requisitioned by the War Dept. They take the form of scooped areas with access from the hard drive for lorries, or smaller rectangular pits. (1)
