Full Description

Estate chapel, 1886-89. By Bodley and Garner for the 7th Duke of Newcastle. In C14 decorated Revival style. Polychromatic Steetly and Runcorn sandstone ashlar with lead roofs. (1)
Erected for the seventh Duke … in 1886-9 by Bodley & Garner. One of their master-pieces, eclecticism at its most refined. (2)
Hine['s] unfinished chapel at Clumber House for the 5th Duke of Newcastle (1864) [was] demolished by the 7th Duke and replaced by the present church. (3)
