Full Description

Watermill shown on (1) and (2).
C18 with C19 alterations. Interior retains much C19 iron machinery including 2 millstones, wheel, pulleys and hopper. (3)
Jacket Mill and associated sluice. Disused. (4)
A two storey, white painted, tiled building, now a restaurant. There is no machinery. In the mid C19 it was referred to as "one watermill, now two corn mills called Jacket Mill". It spans the River Meden. In 1793 it was part of Robert William Evelyn Sutton's marriage settlement. (5)
