Full Description

7 pits and a gulley exposed in the gravel at the Hoveringham Gravel Co's pit. 3 fire-cracked pebbles, some charcoal and 2 small potsherds - one of which was Ro - were recovered. (1)
The indicated site now falls within extensive gravel workings. No recent finds from this proximity are known to the Company estate office. The area is gradually being reclaimed. (2)
