Full Description

Ordsall (All Saints) drastically "restored" 1878. The original Decorated and Early English arcades were retained. The lower 2 stages of the tower are C14. (1)
Still in use for public worship. (2)
The west tower is ashlar with diagonal buttresses, crenellated parapet, 8 pinnacles. C13 interior work includes the north and south arcade which both have octagonal piers and moulded arches. In 1876 T. C. Hine & Sons widened the south aisle, partially rebuilt the tower, and replaced the east window. Further restoration by Hodgson Fowler in 1880. (3)
