Full Description

Girder bridge carrying 18in diameter water pipe across the Trent is part of link between reservoir at Elkesley and Lincoln. In good condition and being maintained. The main span stretches 50yds across the Trent and is approached by a number of smaller girder spans on the W side but on the E side the pipe goes vertically down into the ground. Girders rest on stone piers. C 1900. (07/06/1968) (1)
