Full Description

1771-77, canal workers' cottages on Chesterfield Canal. On the N side of the canal and at right angles to it. 7 cottages of red brick with tile roofs, inhabited. (1)
A row of red brick cottages at Rhodesia. They are at right angles to the canal. There are seven cottages and a public house (now closed) at the end farthest from the canal. The cottages are two storeyed at the front, but have three floors at the back. The cottage abutting onto the canal had a large door opening on to the waterway. The door is now bricked up. (2)
